More Than a Business

I’m Tiffany—a wife, mom, educator, business owner, and dog trainer. More importantly, I’m someone who understands that family life can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly overwhelming.

My life has been shaped by overcoming obstacles. I grew up with instability, limited resources, family struggles with mental health and substance use, and the loss of both parents while I was still young. Those experiences taught me resilience, but they also showed me how deeply our environments, relationships, and access to support can affect the way we experience life.

As an adult, I poured myself into education and work. Marriage and motherhood brought new joys—and new challenges—including infertility, pregnancy loss, difficult pregnancies, postpartum depression, sleep deprivation, sensory overload, and the ongoing work of understanding my own evolving identity. Parenting children with sensory-processing differences and autism has further taught me that there is no single routine, strategy, or definition of success that works for every family.

I share this not because my experiences are the same as yours, but because they have shaped the way I meet people: with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. I know that what appears simple from the outside can feel incredibly difficult when you are living it. I also know that families often carry strengths and solutions they have not yet learned to recognize.

My professional background brings another dimension to this work. I hold undergraduate degrees in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, and chemistry; a Master of Arts in Teaching; and an Education Specialist degree in educational leadership with an emphasis on adult learning and research. I also completed doctoral coursework in educational leadership and reached all-but-dissertation status. Across more than two decades in education, leadership, family coaching, business management, and canine training, I have helped people understand complex challenges, develop practical skills, and create meaningful change.

Over time, I discovered that the challenges families face are often connected. Routines influence relationships. Environments affect emotional well-being. Consistency builds confidence. When children, adults, and dogs feel understood and supported, the entire household can begin to thrive.

That understanding inspired Zen Living Co.

I created Zen Living Co. to offer practical tools, thoughtful guidance, and adaptable solutions for real families living real lives. I will never ask your family to fit someone else’s version of perfection. Instead, I hope to help you recognize what is already within you, make small and meaningful changes, and build systems that reflect your family’s unique needs.

You do not need to transform everything at once. Sometimes meaningful change begins with one compassionate, intentional step.
